The Story
Part 1
The Struggle
Chris is a medical material sales man,he sells bone scanner machine earn for a living.Due to the reality that this machine is not so useful at the time,he couldn't earn much.While his wife have to take on two jobs to pay for their bills.
A scene in the movie shows they are quarreling.
Chris was cheated and credulously believed a
girl who is singing on the street.
Chris told the girl to take care of his scanner,
in the end the girl took it for granted.
The Separation
Linda couldn't withstand a life without any insurance.
She want and yearn for a stable and better life.
Linda left his son and Chris and went to New York.
The Inspiration
"Don't let somebody tell you you can't do something."
"You got a dream,you gotta protect it.People can't do something themselves,they wanna tell you you can't do it.If you want something,go get it.Period."
This part of the movie brings out the main idea and purpose about this movie.It tells you about chasing and pursuing your dream ,you have to make the decision,the sacrifice,the action.Most importantly,don't give up even when people despise and think nothing of you!!!

There are so many struggles,pains,trials and tribulations in life.In<<The Pursuit of Happiness>>show one kind of struggle;the struggle of earning a living,to get happiness,with no worries about paying rents and bills…No matter what kind of struggle it is,with perseverance and hard work,anything could happen!Also remember that,don't let your dreams die,but give the shot and chase it with all your effort,don't let people say you can't do it.You Can Make the Change!
